Taste Kitchen is the brainchild of Danny Van, a Vietnamese-born and French-trained chef with a passion for food. Starting with local produce, Van combines the flavors of his native Vietnam with the legendary culinary techniques of France to bring out the best in our sustainably sourced seafood. His ever-evolving vision and awareness of our location is reflected in our frequently changing menu, which showcases a revolving selection of high-quality seasonal ingredients. By viewing every ingredient- exotic or everyday- as culinary delights per se, he elaborates them into a dish without unnecessary overcomplication. While undoubtedly an artist in his own right, when asked what he does here he’s been known to crack a smile and simply say “dishwasher”.
